Adopt an orangutan and give him or her a future!

With an adoption, you take on the entire cost of rehabilitation for an orangutan to the amount of 2,000 € per year. The rehabilitation of orangutans takes an average of seven years. With your donation, medical care, food, accommodation and the training of the orangutans are funded at the station.

If you adopt an orangutan, you will receive a personalised Certificate of Adoption, plus the life story and photos of "your" orangutan. You also receive regular updates and the latest photos. A visit to your protégé in one of the stations is possible, with limitations, after consultation.

There is also the possibility of the cost of adoption being made in instalments (minimum of €166 per month). Of course, you can adopt an orangutan jointly, for example, as a school or business. When the time of the reintroduction for your orangutan comes, you will be notified and may participate in the cost of the reintroduction. Even without your additional financial contribution the animal will, of course, still be reintroduced.
